Local Concert
Saw A band from Sheboygan, Wi called Cedarwell, I greatly enjoyed them, sounded like a very stripped down Beirut maybe, without the distinctive voice of course. Two mediocre bands played. One called star folk from the twin cities, consisted of older people dressed outlandishly playing something that sounded like fleetwood mac, pink floyd, maybe some bowie and the beatles kinda smooshed together...

Stress
It is funny how it can just rain down upon you seemingly from nowhere. So many small things that alone are nothing but pair them up and eventually you feel the weight of it all. Comes down heavy like a mass of snow. I am not saying I do not deserve everything I ever get but that doesnt mean I dont feel like every new thing adds a pound to the heavy burden I carry. I know some people love me and...

I can see the wind bite at the holes in your knees, well before the spring gets a chance to sing. Shy away from the warmth my body could bring. So many things I have done but never seen. Time will make it permanent, time let you forget, time shows that mold didn’t fit.

Sophistication is
Wheat Thins: Parmesan basil, Organic non-homogenized milk (locally produced and drunk from a packers mug), relaxing minimalisticly clothed whilst watching the Colt’s reign triumphant over the Jets. Never mind this is me being gross in my apartment on a sunday.

realism
I think I am a realist. I am pretty damn sure sure reality exists even if I dont. I try to be realistic in my views on just about everything. I believe morals are objective. I view the world as it is proven by science. But, I have an imagination.

Singularity

Actualiz, ing
I have my own apartment, with hardwood floors, a proudly displayed acoustic guitar, internet and extremely basic cable, and a book case (mostly full). I also have a mouse located somewhere in the wall near my closet, a constant hammering due to the renovations scheduled to last another two months and the fact my parents pay my rent. My wall paper is awesome.

It is winter,
and it is bitterly cold. As always a sunny day is enough to remind of the promise of spring. Yet the days are still so short. The harshness of this season has not set in yet. Sometimes it will seem unbearable. Or possibly the snowfall will appear innocent and beautiful. Whatever the next day holds I can only hope for freedom and life. I will trek though this snow, blinded and cold. It will break...
